Indian brides are setting global wedding trends, from wearing fusion saris to gown lehengas, the fashion experiment begins at an Indian wedding and no one is complaining. We keep on coming across beautiful brides, thanks to social media and some really take the game of style up by a notch, and today we are going to discuss one such bride, whose lehenga has set a trend of sorts.
Real bride Jaanvi Alang tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony, which was followed by a regal wedding reception and we were blown over by the ensemble she donned at the post wedding function.
Jaanvi wore a beautiful burnished gold tulle and silk lehenga for her wedding reception. Designed by designer duo Rimple and Harpreet, the magnificent outfit featured a skirt wrought with delicate handcrafted marodi embroidery and hand-cut metal sequins; used to render geometric tessellations derived from Mughal vaulted domes and ceilings that are further layered with fragile floral motifs. She paired it with an embroidered blouse and a sheer tulle dupatta that was edged with a handmade glass bead fringe.
And, if you are wondering what the word burnished means in this context, here’s an explanation. The designer duo have used polished gold tulle in the silk lehenga to give it an exotic look.
We spotted the beautiful lehenga on the designer duo’s Instagram profile and can’t stop gushing about since then!
